Our Policies

At Swipe A Car, we’re committed to providing a safe, fair, and seamless rental experience for both our renters and vendors. Our policies are designed to protect everyone on the platform, backed by trusted insurance from Roamly.

1. Insurance Coverage

  • Renters: Every trip booked through Swipe A Car includes insurance protection provided by Roamly, covering liability, collision, and comprehensive coverage, so you can drive with confidence.
  • Vendors: Your vehicle is protected while it’s rented out through the platform. Roamly ensures peace of mind with coverage that helps safeguard your asset against unexpected incidents.
  • Exclusions: Normal wear and tear, maintenance, and mechanical breakdowns are not covered.

2. Vendor Responsibilities

  • Maintain vehicles in safe, clean, and roadworthy condition.
  • Ensure all required documents (registration, inspection, and insurance compliance) are valid in Dallas, Texas.
  • Provide accurate descriptions and availability of vehicles.
  • Report accidents or claims immediately through the Swipe A Car dashboard.

3. Renter Responsibilities

  • Hold a valid driver’s license and meet age requirements (minimum 21 years old in Dallas, TX).
  • Use the vehicle responsibly and only for lawful purposes.
  • Return the car on time and in the same condition it was received.
  • Report accidents, damages, or issues to Swipe A Car immediately.

4. Payments & Fees

  • Renters: Pay securely through our Stripe-powered platform. Any additional charges (late returns, mileage overages, cleaning fees) will be applied as per the vendor’s terms.
  • Vendors: Receive 70% of the booking earnings directly to your Stripe account. Swipe A Car retains a 30% commission for platform services and insurance coverage.

5. Cancellations & Refunds

  • Renters: Full refunds available for cancellations made within 24 hours of booking and at least 48 hours before the trip start.
  • Vendors: May set custom cancellation policies, but must honor confirmed bookings unless unavoidable.
  • Swipe A Car reserves the right to intervene in disputes to ensure fairness.

6. Safety & Compliance

  • All vendors and renters must follow Dallas city and Texas state laws while using Swipe A Car.
  • Vehicles must not be used for racing, towing, or illegal activities.
  • Violations of these rules may result in suspension or removal from the platform.

7. Support & Claims

  • In the event of an accident or damage, both renters and vendors should report the issue immediately through the platform.
  • Roamly and Swipe A Car will guide you through the claims process.
  • Our Dallas-based support team is available to assist you 24/7.

Swipe-A-Car Terms and Conditions / Privacy Policy

Swipe-A-Car respects your privacy. By opting into our SMS messaging service, you agree to the
following terms regarding how we handle your data

 

  • Data Collection: We will collect your name, email address, mailing address, and mobile phone number when
    you sign up for SMS updates. The information will be collected via the website contact form email, rental
    agreement, or third-party reservation systems
  • Data Usage: We use your data solely for sending updates, promotions, and reminders related to our products or
    services
  • Data Security We protect your data with secure storage measures to prevent unauthorized access
  • Data Retention: We retain your information as long as you are subscribed to our SMS service. You may request
    deletion at any time
  • MESSAGE AND DATA RATES MAY APPLY. Your mobile carrier may charge fees for sending or
    receiving text messages, especially if you do not have an unlimited texting or data plan.
  • Messages are recurring, and message frequency varies

  • Opt-Out You can opt out of the SMS list at any time by texting, emailing, or replying STOP or UNSUBSCRIBE to
    (contact@swipe-a-car.com) or (214) 838-8009 or (888) 317-9473. After unsubscribing, you will receive a final
    SMS to confirm you have unsubscribed and we will remove your number from our list within 24 hours
  • You can send HELP for additional assistance, and you will receive a text including our Phone number,
    email and website. We are here to help you
  • Non-Sharing Clause: We do not share your data with third parties for marketing purposes. Swipe-A-Car will not
    sell, rent, or share the collected mobile numbers
