For Renters

How does Swipe A Car work?

Swipe A Car connects you with local car owners and verified vendors offering vehicles for short-term rentals. Simply browse, book, and drive — all from your phone or computer.

Some rentals may require a refundable security deposit, depending on the vehicle and vendor. If required, the deposit will be clearly stated and returned to you after the trip, subject to inspection.

You’ll need a valid driver’s license, a government-issued ID, and a credit/debit card for payment. Additional verification may be required depending on the vehicle or rental location.

Currently, we require a credit or debit card for all bookings to ensure secure transactions and verification.

You’ll receive an email confirmation and booking status update in your account dashboard. In some cases, manual approval may be required if insurance or ID verification is pending.
